Airtronic D2 / D4 Wear & Service Parts in One Place

This page gathers the most commonly replaced Eberspacher (Espar) Airtronic D2 and D4 wear items — fuel pump, combustion air blower, glow plug and burner — so you can service a heater in a single order. Match the part to your exact model and voltage before buying. For fault-code diagnosis, see our Airtronic fault code guide; for model differences, see our D2 vs D4 vs D5 comparison.

1. Fuel Metering Pump

The metering pump delivers precisely dosed fuel to the burner. Symptoms: no-start (fault 52), no pump “click”, or pump codes 047 / 048 / 049.

2. Combustion Air Blower Motor

The blower supplies combustion air. Symptoms: fault codes 031 / 032 / 033, weak heat, grinding or stiff fan.

4. Burner / Combustion Service

For a full Airtronic service, combine the pump and blower with a clean fuel filter and a new glow plug. If you are also servicing a Webasto heater (Thermo Top / Air Top), separate parts are required — do not cross brands. Related Webasto service parts:

FAQ

Which parts do I need for an Airtronic D2 service?

Typical service: fuel metering pump (22451901), combustion air blower, glow plug and a fresh fuel filter. Replace them together to avoid a repeat failure.

Are D2 and D4 parts the same?

Some consumables differ by model and voltage. The 22451901 pump fits both D2 and D4 (12 V), but blowers are model-specific (D2 vs D4) — always match the OE number.

Can I use Airtronic parts on a Webasto heater?

No. Eberspacher and Webasto use different part numbers and connectors. Fit the correct brand-specific part for your heater.

All parts are OEM-grade compatible replacements, stocked and shipped by IntelliGenParts. Confirm your heater model, voltage and OE number before ordering.
